Luna D'Oro
Berlin has a handful of true institutions and Clärchens Ballhaus in Mitte is one of them. The atmosphere at Clärchens has always been amazing, and now the food is (finally!) there to match, the restaurant has been reimagined under the direction of owner Yoram Roth and Chef Tobias Beck and Luna D’Or has transformed the historical dance hall into a 1920s-inspired dining experience. The new menu highlights the venue’s unique nostalgia but gives it a twist of modernity. Amongst the masterfully executed interpretations of German cuisine you will find and love dishes such as the Tartar-Igel, Kalbsleber (veal liver) or a Goldbroiler (fried chicken). The desserts are spot on and will either bring back Jell-o and Spaghetti Eis childhood memories, or give you a glimpse and taste of the treats German kids used to enjoy.
