RestaurantWeek Berlin Returns, This Time With Fine Dining on the Menu

From October 28th to November 22nd, the exclusive RestaurantWeek menus will be available at over 40 restaurants across the city, and for the first time ever the festival will run simultaneously in Berlin and Hamburg. The format stays the same: participating restaurants serve a three-course festival menu at a fixed price, opened with a free Martini aperitivo (or a non-alcoholic alternative), with menus starting at €29 per person.

What has changed is the top end: This edition introduces a new premium category for fine dining, with Michelin Guide-starred restaurants joining the festival for the first time, each at its own festival price. Michelin-starred restaurants Irma La Douce and Bonvivant lead the premium lineup, which extends the RestaurantWeek from a good excuse to try the neighbourhood place you keep walking by into a great opportunity to finally booking that tasting-menu restaurant you have been saving for a special occasion.

Susanna Pommer, the German Festival Manager, summarizes the exceptional value offering of the RestaurantWeek:

Returning BFS favourites on the lineup include Zum Heiligen Teufel, Mama Rosas, Scnheeweiß, Estelle Dining, Merold and the BRLO restaurants (Brwhouse & Charlottenburg, while all time favorite Remi joins as a formidable lunch option. As we tested the menus before this year's edition, we also had extraordinary meals at Fa:me, Bundesbüdchen and Pamela, so rest assured that there are enough great restaurants on this year's edition.

Reservations are available exclusively online via the RestaurantWeek website, where all you have to do is choose your date, time slot and menu in advance (20 percent of the menu price are to be paid upfront). Keep in mind: One Martini aperitif on the house, but otherwise drinks are billed separately at the restaurant, and festival menus are not available for walk-ins.
