Berlin, Germany – Are you ready to savor ALL the flavors of Italy? Good news is that you don't have to leave Berlin to do it! The Food Festival Berlin, organized by our friends at tipBerlin and Viani, is bringing some serious la dolce vita to the German capital when it takes place across the city from September 16th to 22nd. Here is why you should go:
The festival kicks off with a series of special dinners at some of Berlin's most beloved Italian restaurants, including Francucci, Il Calice and Bruderherz, all with special guests culinary experiences that offer a perfect prelude to the week ahead. (SPOILER: Win seats for these dinners during our Instagram giveaway on Friday the 13th). Another highlight to not miss is the Aperitivo at Theke in Wedding on Friday the 20th.
For those seeking a more interactive experience, the festival will also host a series of tastings at Viani delicatessen stores. Attendees can indulge in a variety of Italian delicacies, from fine grappas and artisanal chocolates to handcrafted panettone and regional cheeses.
The highlight of the festival will undoubtedly be the Italian market days at St. Elisabeth on September 21st and 22nd.
