Masa
Masa is a contemporary slice shop that opened in summer 2026 on Fuldastraße in Neukölln, taking over the former W Pizza space. The project is run by a duo of chefs with fine dining backgrounds, having previously worked at restaurants such as Rutz and Cookies Cream, a this background truly shows in the concept.
The focus is on square slices built on a dough that sits somewhere between focaccia and classic pizza, resulting in a structure that is both airy and crispy. While there are familiar options such as Margeritha and Pepperoni, Masa distinguishes itself through a range of more inventive toppings that push beyond the usual boundaries of slice pizza. Masa is primarily a quick stop for a slice and a drink, but those who look a bit closer will find a set of ambitious side dishes: salads, ceviches etc., which all stand out as some of the most compelling elements on the menu, reflecting the technical background of the kitchen.
